| ... | JMM Design Group has the knowledge, creativity and experience to turn any fashion show into a FASHION PRODUCTION!
JMM Design Group handles the hundreds of details that go into planning and implentation of every fashion show. We have extensive fashion industry experience in design, theater, merchandising and marketing. JMM Design Group has strong working relationships with members of the media, such as magazine and newspaper reporters, television producers, radio producers and website producers.
Our Fashion Show Producers work on several different types of shows. JMM Design Group works with designer shows, charity shows, and trunk shows.
Our designer shows are elaborate, glamorous productions in which you can showcase your latest collection to guests like industry media, celebrities, socialites, fashion buyers, and fashion directors.
We also produce and oversee charity shows that are held to raise money for nonprofit agencies. During our charity shows, our staff takes on the unique task of teaching volunteer models from the nonprofit agency to do their work in the show, such as the runway walk.
Trunk shows are a growing trend among stores. Our Fashion Show Producers assemble one or more fashion lines for travel to different stores around a city or in different cities. Trunk shows are generally less expensive to produce, even though they can be very elaborate.
In general, we handle the following array of details before, during, and after the show:
- Secure a date and time for your show
- Secure a venue
- Work with the designer, manufacturer, or retailer to determine what clothing will be modeled
- Locate and book models
- Pre-show promotional activities (interviews, advertising, press releases and invitations)
- Determine the lighting, staging, music and commentary (if applicable) for the show
- Makeup and hair stylists for the show, along with "dressers" who will help the models get in and out of their clothes quickly
- Develop "script" for show
- Delivery of clothes to venue
- Model check-in
- Welcome guests and present your representative to guests
- Manage actual show while it is going on
- Interact with guests and participants after the show
- Seating charts (if applicable)
